This is a link to a glog where my algebra classes will be introduced to "glogging" instead of "blogging". This is an example of a project we are beginning, in which they are to find a poem and image, then plot the points in a connected scatterplot using an Excel spreadsheet document. All evidences of learning will be on their own personally created "glog", using gloster.com
I am expecting great things from this project! We all know that it is hard to keep the student in "learning mode" after the End of Course examinations are over and the seniors have left campus. Today we began this project and several students who just started to look into what the glog would do for them remarked that it was so cool. That is really something if you can continue to motivate a 9th grader to do anything in mid-May.
